We have renovated the house into a sophisticated and useful atmosphere, but leaving the good old joinery and pillars. You will experience the best healing time here with antique furnitures from the Meiji and Taisho era.

Watching the garden with a perfect moss and seasonal plants and flowers, will give you just the relaxing time you needed.
Rooms
Living Room/ Washitsu : Japanese tatami floor room
You can relax watching the garden sitting on the fluffy sitting cushion. We also have the “KOTATSU”, a Japanese traditional table with stove covered with a blanket, for winter time. The retroglass door room has a couch where you can enjoy your teatime, and the front room has a selection of Kyoto`s guide books, where you can plan your traveling schedule.
BEDROOM
We have 2 bedroom on the 2nd floor. Both rooms has a “fusuma” door with “Kyo-karakami”, a traditional Japanese craft paper which is hand printed by professional craftsmen. Each designs has meanings: the big cloud means rising fortune and the round plum means meeting good people.
We have selected “tempur”`s mattress for a good night`s sleep.

Facilities and amenities
The bathroom tile made with the image of the blue sky will give you a splendid bath time where you can experience a little of the outside bath, wataching the view of our garden. And for the bath amenities, we have selected non-silicon “Esthe Royer”.

From Kyoto Station
Take the SAGANO line (lane #31-33 at Kyoto station), going to “KAMEOKA and SONOBE”. Get off at “JR TANBAGUCHI station”, 2nd stop from Kyoto station. Just about a 5 minute walk to the accommodation.
From Hankyu Railway
Get off at “SAI IN station” or “SHIJO OMIYA station” and take about 15 minutes walk to the accommodation.
By car
Sorry, we don`t have a parking space at OOZORA, but there are many car parks around the accommodation (1-5 minute walk), so please park your car there.
